No. The AI never sees the images. It receives the radiologist's written dictation and the modality, and organises them into a report draft. It does not detect, mark or diagnose anything. The radiologist checks every line, edits, and signs.
Any machine or PACS that can send DICOM to a network destination. Many centres start by having their existing PACS auto-forward a copy of each study, which needs no change on the machines. Pointing a machine directly at Doctera often needs a visit from the vendor's service engineer.
Yes. Once the report is signed and sent, the patient finds the report and a copy of the images in their Doctera portal, under My imaging. The ordering doctor receives the same report and images.
Yes. The full study downloads as a DICOM ZIP, for a specialist, another PACS or the patient. The browser viewer is a reference view, not for primary diagnostic interpretation.
